From 2011, the Adopting Families of La Casita de Nicolás Association, AsoCasita annually holds the concert “Una Nota con Amor a Favor de los Niños de La Casita de Nicolás” (A Note with Love in the favor of the Children of La Casita de Nicolás), an evening that celebrates solidarity and love for music, also raising funds for La Casita and the well-being of its children.

Since its first version 7 years ago, the concert has maintained its high quality and grown in attendance, reclaiming its own space in the cultural program of the city, attracting more and more assistants, involving more institutional allies and enjoying the participation of talented groups and soloists, as well as world-renowned invited guests.

On 2018, AsoCasita surprised us with a first-level musical program: the Macondo Choral Ensemble, the La Colombina Folk Group and the Camerata Jaibaná masterfully performed Ariel Ramírez, Javier Álvarez, Astor Piazzola and other great musicians of the world. The poet Esperanza Amaya shared with the public, creations that led back to childhood, its invariable surprise, its innocent uncertainty and the beauty of the discovery of music, play, loss and other emotions.
